I'm pleased to announce the release of another open source application for your mac-software needs.

The application is called Gee! which is a menubar Gmail new mail notifier with an animated icon. It uses Gmail's Atom feed over SSL to keep track of the new emails. It can also be used as a notifier on any Atom feed for that matter.
