I just had a moment pining for the care-free whimsical days when The Simpsons scandalized the world with such a terrible role model for 10-year-old boys. Only a moment though. Soon enough I'm going to be telling the kids to get off my damn lawn.

That cartoon particularly spoke to me now that I'm back on campus; I can't believe how young and stupid all these incoming undergraduate freshman are. Of course the PHD students are probably saying the same thing about the incoming Graduate students.

It seems I need a CIA background check to get a discount Student Metro card. Since when does 12 units constitute a full-time graduate level class load? The lady in the Metro office couldn't have been more delighted to tell me how much of an idiot I am.
