Great! Been waiting/looking for this very thing. I work in a newsroom and the updated feeds are great. Best $7 spent in a long time.

I think it's good - but wait, it could be fantastic, if ...
1. When it is not looping it hides entirely until there's a new item (and thus stops using my CPU and wasting my screen space to show nothing).
2. Change the loop option to choices of, repeat once, repeat twice, repeat for [definable] minutes/hours.
3. Option instead of scroling to fade the headlines in and out.

Less important but certainly worthwhile:
4. The width (and thus horizontal position) were definable.
5. A popup menu of recent ticker items could also be helpful and would make checking for headlines you might have missed easier!
6. If the screensaver is on or computer is idle it could wait to show new ticker items until the computer is being used again.
