Alrighty, so I had a very long and odd dream last night.
First I dreamt that J and myself were following the famous Alton Brown while he was recording a show. For some reason we were at a football stadium.
Alton invited all of his fans that were following him back to his place for a get-together. This house was MASSIVE. He had all different types of rooms, each one decorated practically but tastefully. The rooms just didn't seem to end. He had quite a bit of wonderful food laid out and even a popular popcorn machine.
At one point during the festivities I ran into Alton attending to some guest's needs and told him how beautiful his house was. He started showing me sections of his place I hadn't seen yet. On doorway led into a large entry hall with fake plaster store fronts and a half-finished mural of Mr. Brown's face filling a wall from floor to high celing.
The quaint artificial mall extended into recesses of his house I wasn't able to see. The dream's scene changed: I pictured a close-up of Alton Brown's face describing a tribe of Native Americans living in a small town in New Mexico who have chemical oddness about them as I would see in his show. All of a sudden we were sitting in a Studebaker on a beach watching a parade of muddy-skinned people driving and dancing on, in and around a double-decker bus. There were many people solemnly watching the specticle. The skin of these people had been discolored to a deep muddy-red because of the chemical composition of the soil in that region. All of their crops that they eat are grown in that soil, so they all share the same features. A woman with long dark hair and the muddy skin rapped on our window; she was a sentry keeping watch over the edges of the village to make sure no outsiders could come in.
I suddenly found myself at the wheel of a rounded school bus barrelling down the freeway at an extremely unsafe speed which was apparently my only means of escape from the town of muddy-skinned native americans. I was alone and following a naked woman cyclist who I eventually saved from flying off the edge of an labyrinthine overpass by allowing her on board.
At this point I woke up and didn't get to find out where I was headed.
