This post on ScienceBlog about human brain evolution describes how the gene that causes the brain to evolve only shows evidence of natural selection pressures in the human brain and not of other mammals they studied. I'm curious what kinds of natural selection pressures would cause the brain to evolve? The study of human brain evolution must be a fascinating science.
